TrackMan: Practice

More focused on capturing and displaying data from each swing

Customize what data is displayed

• Click the expand icon (4 arrows facing away from each other) in the top right to switch between 1 data screen and 2 data screens

• Click the gallery icon (4 squares) the change what data is displayed

  • Tracer: Shows the shot shape from your point of view

  • Dispersion: Shows an overhead view of where all your shots have landed

  • Side Top: Shows and top and side view of your shot shape

  • Video: Only available with and apple iPhone or Ipad as an external camera, dedicated article on this feature coming soon.

  • Numbers: Show any of the captured metrics in tile format

  • Table: Displays a sortable data table for all your shots

  • Impact: Shows launch angle and swing plane direction data

  • Swing Plane: Shows the swing plane

  • Impact Location: Shows the specific impact location on your club face

Buttons

• Tracy: An AI swing coach, still being developed, takes quite a bit of shots to get it to work

• Target: Re-calibrates the Trackman, should only need to do if shot direction is looking off or if the TrackMan launch monitor was moved

• Camera: Can connect an Apple iPhone or iPad as an external camera to view your swing after every shot

Tips

• Do not be afraid to play around with the settings. Everything will revert to the default settings when you are done. You will not break anything

• Always aim your shots for the middle of the screen. There is a white arrow shown at the bottom of the screen that should be your aiming point

  • This can get confusing when you have the Tracer view that this not centered in the screen

• Select your clubs before your shot. This will not affect the ball and club data, but will help TrackMan organize your shots and start to learn your distances.

• Default data is calibrated for Missoula altitude, change to sea level by clicking the normalize button.

Give the TrackMan a yardage range and it will randomize shots into a green between those yardages

Select your course

• Once in a course you will be able to chose what hole you want to practice

• You can click "place ball" to practice a shot from any location on the course

Pre set practice course with multiple targets and yardages to practice

Work on specific situations that you are able to customize

Create your own test or use take the TrackMan Combine test

• TrackMan Combine is 60 shots and will email you a score when you are done
